Army Distinguished Service Cross Miniature Medal

The Army Distinguished Service Cross Medal (DSC) is a prestigious U.S. Army decoration awarded for exceptional gallantry and personal risk in combat with an armed enemy force. To earn the DSC, actions must surpass the criteria for other U.S. combat decorations but fall short of the requirements for the Medal of Honor. Equivalent to the Navy Cross (Navy and Marine Corps) and the Air Force Cross (Air Force), the DSC originated and was first awarded during World War I. Additional awards were later granted for pre-World War I actions, often recognizing gallantry preceding formal recognition. It is distinct from the Distinguished Service Medal, which acknowledges meritorious service to the U.S. government rather than individual acts of bravery in combat.

WWII US MARINE CORPS NAMED SILVER STAR PARAMARINE

WWII US Marine Wrapped Brooch, Silver Star named to Clement M. Vierra USMCR who was a member of the 1st Marine Parachute Battalion and was from Sacramento California. His Silver Star Citation reads as followed: The President of the United States of America takes pride in presenting the Silver Star (Posthumously) to Private First Class Clement M. Vierra (MCSN: 478645), United States Marine Corps Reserve, for conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity in action while serving with the First Marine Parachute Battalion during action against enemy Japanese forces near Kol-ari, Bougainville, Solomon Islands, on 29 November 1943. When his platoon was held up by heavy Japanese machine-gun fire, Private First Class Vierra unhesitatingly charged the hostile machine-gun position, sacrificing his life in a courageous attempt to put it out of action. His valiant fighting spirit in the face of grave peril was in keeping with the highest traditions of the United States Naval Service. He gallantly gave his life for his country. The medal is housed in an untitled box and in excellent condition. The 1st Parachute Battalion was attached to the 1st Marine Division for the invasion of Guadalcanal. The unit departed Norfolk, Virginia on 10 June 1942 aboard the stores ship USS Mizar arriving at Wellington, New Zealand 11 July 1942.[2] On 7 August 1942 the unit conducted an amphibious assault on the small island of Gavutu and later seized the neighboring island of Tanambogo along with other Marine units. The battalion later moved to Guadalcanal, fighting alongside the 1st Marine Raiders in the Tasimboko raid and the Battle of Edson's Ridge. The high casualties suffered by the Marine paratroopers led the battalion to be withdrawn to Camp Kiser in Tontouta, New Caledonia in September.

German Iron Cross

The German Iron Cross is not only a symbol of bravery, but also an award for those who contributed in the war. It has witnessed countless valiant soldiers fighting bravely on the battlefield, and also recorded the hard work of those heroes who silently paid behind the scenes. It is both the highest praise for the bravery of the warriors and the best recognition for those who made great efforts to win the war. Whether it is the soldiers on the front line, or the police, firemen, highway system workers, or even members of the Hitler Youth who support them on the home front, all of them may become holders of the Iron Cross if they have made an outstanding contribution.

SAS/Special Air Service gold-plated metal beret badge

This badge was made in England and finished in the Jewelry District of Birmingham. In seven weeks, 28,000 soldiers and over 100 ships assembled, sailed 8,000 miles in bad weather, fought off air raids at 6-1, landed on enemy shores and fought a fierce battle against the enemy, who surrendered within three weeks. This was a tremendous achievement involving not only the military but also tens of thousands of British workers/women and other civilians/civil servants.

U.S. Air War Bomber Marine Corps Paratrooper Badge
In the Second World War, the US Army Army Air Force used a wide variety of pilot badges and logos, which were mainly used to indicate the qualifications and identity of the wearer. These chest emblems and logos are made of metal and embroidery. The metal chest emblem is mostly distributed by the troops, and the embroidery badges are privately made in addition to the unit. Even metal badges can be purchased privately by soldiers, or even made of precious metals such as silver. The chest emblem is mainly available in two sizes: three inches and two inches. The former is mainly worn on a formal uniform jacket while the latter is worn on an open shirt. In the military, officers and men often mail a two-inch chest badge to their lover, so the two-inch chest badge has an alias "sweet heart wings".
